I'm with 440. If you're starter was fine before the battery was drained, it's extremely unlikely it picked that moment to go bad.
Your problem is your battery. It's either not charged or was damaged when it was drained.
Get someone to jump start your car. If if it starts, you know the charger or the battery could be bad. If the battery charges up fine from the alternator, then you know your charger is crap (my nearly new charger is now sitting in a landfill).
