Car clicks but won't start, help!

I'm with 440. If you're starter was fine before the battery was drained, it's extremely unlikely it picked that moment to go bad. :) Your problem is your battery. It's either not charged or was damaged when it was drained.

Get someone to jump start your car. If if it starts, you know the charger or the battery could be bad. If the battery charges up fine from the alternator, then you know your charger is crap (my nearly new charger is now sitting in a landfill).

turn the key to on and jumper the relay on the cowl...if it turns over...clean connections on relay or change that...BUT....was the battery load tested....it can check good at over 12volts but since You drained it...it may not be good under load...swap another known good battery first

I haven't had much of a chance to work on the car but this morning I hooked up jumper cables to my other car, turned it on and connected them to my Charger. Still only a click. I think at this point that would count the battery out, correct?

I would not rule out the battery. If the battery has shorted or defective cells, it could be affecting the jumping process. I had a 74 charger that wouldn't jump, and after changing the starter, I ended up replacing the battery anyway. How old is the battery? If you have another battery, swap it to see if it will start the engine.

Should I just jump it from the battery in my other car by taking off the terminals and connecting the starter cables directly from my other car to the terminals?

Took the battery and had it load tested and it came back good. It was at 13 volts and dropped down to 10 1/2 volts under a steady load.

cables can go bad inside.might be worth cutting one open and checking for corosion inside.if that is good and cables are clean on both ends i would pull the starter and have it tested.make sure they test it at least 10 times.these starters can develop burnt spots that they dont land on every time.
