A friend of mine went to a season opener yesterday. Just a small show in Germany, but thought you all would be interested to see.
I was in Berlin 79-82. Had a guy in my company who had a 67 SS Chevelle, 375hp 396 with a 4 speed. Drove ole Herman nuts. He had multiple offers on the car. Pretty cool hearing that car idle with those solid lifters.I lived in Germany from 1974-1976 and back then, seeing American cars, were the ones that the Army, and Air Force service members had shipped over to Germany.
Rare to see a German national driving around in American iron.
I was Air Force at the Zweibrucken Air Base.
Nothing like the numbers of VW’s that roam the roads hereIt really is amazing to see how much American iron is over here.
Indeed it does. He's a big Mopar guy in Germany and a good human being.Does that black 63 Plymouth belong to Oliver Zinn?
Yes he is. I met him years ago in Vegas and I saw him a couple years or so ago at the Fling in LA. He has bought quite a bit from me over the years.Indeed it does. He's a big Mopar guy in Germany and a good human being.
