HI Al
another stupid question.. I have a mostly stock 318 LA... except for a slight cam up grade to a .440 IN, EX..freshened up Stock 3 speed auto. car is my 75 Fury, 2 door hard top (I think, no window post). true duels out the back. I did clean up and gasket match the exhaust side of the stock heads..
don't want a killer just a better runner.

What I have on it now is a QFT 450. Now I'm looking at adding headers, and 323 rear gears with a limited slip.. Now my carb question would I benefit any by going to a bigger carb like a Street avanger 670 or something else?

Thanks , Take care be safe
tim

I would try what you have first. It would likely handle a 600 or 650 just fine. Get your headers and gears first and tune what you have before making another change.Just my opinion.

The street avengers can be work to get it right, out of the box.
But yeah, a 650 of some sort.
