Carlisle Chrysler Nationals

Spring Carlisle - Collector Car Flea Market, Corral & Auction. April 17 -21st, 2024.

Anybody ever go to this event and have an opinion ?
The 2 auctions they have each year are mostly Dealer buyers. Register at Mecum if you want top dollar.

My stepdad Bob will be there with the copper ‘69 Charger this year on the red field, I will sadly not be there as I’m still waiting for a kidney transplant and I’m on dialysis. I hope to be there next year. He got his credentials today too….

Tent location set yet?
Just about a stones throw North West of the stage.
The Grandstand and bleachers are South of the stage.
Look for the orange Pentastar in the center of the photo.

If you look to the left of the FBBO tent, half way down the row you will see an "F" tent, I am thinking that "F" (Chrysler 300 Club International) is not to be there. There is another "F" tent 3 rows south.

I have two vendor spots, so I camp on the grounds. Not the most comfortable, but it is much cheaper than staying at a local hotel.

I can't speak for local campgrounds as I haven't stayed at any. There is a campground called AT Campground nearby, but I know nothing about it.
I do the same I use a cot in my tent, bring a small grille and have a nice time.

very encouraging, the weather report has changed overnight and almost eliminated rain for show.

Loaded up and hitting the road in the morning.

We just had FLOODING rains blow through here.. Hopefully gone by tomorrow. Hasn't rained in 14 plus days but now that I am trying to load the trailer OF COURSE it's raining... We REALLY need it but just not right now.

Looking at the weather app, it should be gone for the weekend. But you never know.. I’m coming up Friday morning.

My stepdad Bob left for Carlisle an hour ago at 6:30 this morning, he is going to make a couple stops first along the way to meet up with some friends and convoy down like normal. The previous owners of his copper ‘69 Charger are there in Pennsylvania already, they got there yesterday. Hope everyone going has safe travels and a good time, I look forward to seeing more posts here and some pictures.

I'm leaving today and should be there by late afternoon/ dinnertime.

Remember to come to the FBBO tent (a least) Saturday for the luncheon blowout!

Travel safely everyone and see you all there!
