Carlisle photos

Thanks for sharing all the pictures guys.

My old Hemi Charger was there in the car corral with an inflated price tag of 285 large.

There were three people sitting next to it and when I asked who owned the car, one spoke up. I then told him that I was the person who built the car and he said to me; “you’re Roger Gibson”? I told him my name was Mark and he was told that Roger Gibson built the car and that he was telling others who inquired the same. I told him the real story on the car and mentioned that I still have a bunch of pictures that I could send him. He took my number, so we’ll see if he ever contacts me.

For future reference to others when buying a car from a dealer; don’t believe their hype.

I was parked behind him with my GTX on Thursday. My real story got more attention than the hype, and a serious offer that was major test of my connection with the Demonstrator. I turned the guy down.

I think we had a great turnout for the luncheon - talked to lots of great people there and I hope everyone had a good time. Special thanks to all the members who provided raffle prizes and/or food for the event. Trust me, no one went hungry and the food was astounding!

Apologies to all that I was late getting there. I managed to sell my 73 Road Runner to a nice young guy. This was a very emotional event for me as I have had the car for 42 years. Of course all this went down just when I needed to ramp up for the luncheon. However, great folks stepped in and helped get my food items ready.

Again - thank you too all!

Here is a shot of the "Road Kill Runner" - hopefully the new owner will love and drive the car as much as I did!
