Carlisle photos

I spoke to a guy who drove his Dart from Washington state. He made a vacation out of it.

I spoke with him as well,he said that he drove 5200 miles in his indirect route to Carlisle. I told him how my friend took a month off from work and made his bucket list trip from Rhode Island to Chicago and down route 66 in his 73 Dart and racked up 8800 miles on his trip.

what is going on with this Daytona?

I can hang out at the car and sign autographs for my adoring fans for only so long. Sorry for your loss.
The king of BS himself made his presence known at our vendor spot where my friend bestowed upon him some b body speaker grilles for a three speaker dashboard!

I saw a Charger on a trailer that was buckled in the front badly. It was red. I didn't bother to see what the asking price was because of current second generation Charger prices, it's better that I don't know. Anyways I thought put some old Charger panels on it,paint it up like a General Lee Charger and pose it like it just landed on my front lawn to make some cool yard art! My wife would absolutely love it!

I see now that this trip is on my bucket list for sure. Looks like a good time had by all. Appreciate the pic's shared by you, guys. Mopar heaven for sure.

I been doing this since the late seventies and that Daytona was always referred to as the Disco Daytona.
I typed in Disco Daytona and the first thing that came up was a story about a Daytona like Don Johnson drove in Miami Vice.

I saw an episode of the show Wrenched with the shop Nichols paint and fab. They had an LS built for a truck by the Nickey Chevrolet shop and they had the Disco Daytona in their shop .

My old Hemi Charger was there in the car corral with an inflated price tag of 285 large.

There were three people sitting next to it and when I asked who owned the car, one spoke up. I then told him that I was the person who built the car and he said to me; “you’re Roger Gibson”? I told him my name was Mark and he was told that Roger Gibson built the car and that he was telling others who inquired the same. I told him the real story on the car and mentioned that I still have a bunch of pictures that I could send him. He took my number, so we’ll see if he ever contacts me.

For future reference to others when buying a car from a dealer; don’t believe their hype.

The car looks great like it always did,but it's 95 degrees out in July, it's about time they took the snow tires off and put some real wheels on it!
