Friend of mine spotted this and told me about it. Knocked on the guy's door and found that he bought it in '74. He wanted his son to have it but didn't have any interest. Real 340 car, original engine & trans. When I see a car like this sitting outside, in what looks to be in very decent shape, and when the guy says he's not sure what he's gonna do, I want to bee-atch slap them. Sorry, but this gets my dander up. That's a Rallye car also.

Treat it like an auction. Have your limit ready to go in cash and work up to it. Either he'll say "sure" at some point...or he wants more than you want to spend, and he won't say "sure".

Apparently he DOES want the tree to fold in the quarter panel...and with the windows down, for it to rust from the inside out. (Head smack)

My thoughts exactly, which is why I tried to at least get a yes or no out of him whether it's even for sale or not. The passenger window got smashed unfortunately, not rolled down. That would have to be winched out to even check out areas like how good the t-bar crossmember is, etc. My guess, not pretty.

Wishful thinking... I had a 73 Rallye Challenger and I got $1500 just for the entire rally dash assembly and it was GREEN!!
