This is forum software that the forum admin paid for and a hosting service the admin also pays for.

It is basically private property.

The first amendment does not apply.

What the admin says, goes.

The mods are the admin's agents.

If you had followed this post from the beginning it was a mod who was blocking my posts, question why? No excuse given either officially or a personal issue? I chose the latter. He had been caught at it but no one would admit to it. As far as another member, I don't know what you mean. I've used the same name since day one. The major up roar about me is the numbers of posts I make, that's what I was alluding to, just ignore and move on.
If this upsets some one so be it, I post IMO, good informative news. Even stray to posting jokes and memes.

I have paid for three plus years in the past, I let it laps because of this issue. When this all jumped off Joey sent me a free one, but I paid for it instead. As far as blocking me a reason was never given why I was blocked. As far as this being private fair enough, but you show me where posts are not free speech. I'm telling, you can't.

Yes... it's why you couldn't get a PM or send one when you started this thread. You were limited to 15 personal messages when NOT Gold. Going back to Gold restored everything and gives you a 1000 PM's !

I got notice it was expiring on December 21st of 2022', blocking started well before that.. When this latest issue came up Joey sent me a free one. Which I appreciated the gesture, but I paid the fifty dollars up front. Thanks for you question.

The only 100% guarantee of first amendment protection on an internet forum, is it that forum is run by the government.

There are various other levels of "protection" with different criteria to be met for each level.

This issue is currently developing.

...but the simple existence of the site owner's ability (and by proxy, the moderators) to remove any member from the forum, either temporarily, or permanently, and the fact that no court has removed that ability illustrates my point.

Basically, if you go to a privately-run website, and agree to their rules in order to become a member...you don't have a leg to stand on, unless they broke one of the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

Basically, if you go to a privately-run website, and agree to their rules in order to become a member...you don't have a leg to stand on, unless they broke one of the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

The rules are not for the site owner.

Memberships are "at the pleasure" of the owner.

Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

I don't have the 'keys' to that room even if it's possible to do that here and doubt the other mods do either. However I was an admin at another site years ago (before I became a mod here) where that was possible to do and yes, it was used from time to time to get rid of the crazies without outright banning them. Thing is, doing that made the post invisible to all but that particular member. The software is different than it was 15 years ago and I have no idea what today's software offers to an owner/admin. Now it is possible to ban a member from a particular forum if they become a 'nuisance member'.....ie stirring the sheet pot constantly. I've never used that feature and don't even know if I can or not. I do know there have been a couple of members that were blocked from the Political Forum because of the way they acted but that is also a forum that requires signing up to gain access anyways.

I appreciate the input, but it's a fact that I was getting no notices when someone check marked any on my videos. Am I wrong? Not in the slightest. This person even posted he had me on a lock down. I sent his comment to Joey. Weird huh?
