I don't have the 'keys' to that room even if it's possible to do that here and doubt the other mods do either. However I was an admin at another site years ago (before I became a mod here) where that was possible to do and yes, it was used from time to time to get rid of the crazies without outright banning them. Thing is, doing that made the post invisible to all but that particular member. The software is different than it was 15 years ago and I have no idea what today's software offers to an owner/admin. Now it is possible to ban a member from a particular forum if they become a 'nuisance member'.....ie stirring the sheet pot constantly. I've never used that feature and don't even know if I can or not. I do know there have been a couple of members that were blocked from the Political Forum because of the way they acted but that is also a forum that requires signing up to gain access anyways.

Members can be blocked from posting on a particular thread if they are causing issues. Is that what we are talking about? 15 conversations mentioned in the first post here? I thought we were talking about personal messages. @Auggie56, you need to post a link to the thread where you saw the message so we can see what happened.

Well, we're trying to figure out what happened and without co-operation from all of us, it won't get figured out. If you rather us the PM system, then that's fin too. In fact, it probably would have been the better route to use.
