A little thing I've been advised about the zinc/phos in the good engine oils (like Driven, Brad Penn, Vr1 etc).....is apparently, they don't actively 'begin to bond to/protect highly loaded parts until the oil is up to operating temp.
Something to consider.
Imho, roller cams still need a quality oil with decent zinc/phos, whether at breakin or during use, bc the roller wheels (bearings or bushings) and cam bearings, pushrod tips, rockers etc are still highly loaded and need protection.
Spring pressures are much higher so load on the parts is increased over a SFT or HFT cam/spring combo.
My 2c.
