All Chargers have some rust,as seen in the pictures above most rust belt Chargers are completely blown out. I have two California Charger R/T cars.one is a V code car. Both needed some rust repair, but no where near as much as the rust belt Chargers I have owned. The Sublime car is very solid. They are 55 year old cars that leaked from day one. My parents bought one brand new,we lived it. The picture is my moms car. Other than a few pampered survivor examples that spent their lives kept indoors, there is no such thing as a 100 percent rust free second generation Charger.

What a difference 50 years makes. The stuff we considered rusty in the 70s would be top shelf today.

Hmm...maybe describing the car as "not solid" may have been a poor choice of words. But, it is important to emphasize that the vehicle is "not rust-free," despite what has been claimed. It will require body panel replacements, including the trunk floor, trunk extensions, and possibly the lower quarter panels in the rear at a minimum. Additionally, repairs will be needed for the front and rear floors, as well as the window channels.
Also, the thing is in a million pieces...

However, I must acknowledge that, in comparison to entirely rusted-out cars from the Rust Belt, this one is relatively solid, and compared to the one @Dutchrebuild posted, it is cream puff ready for Barrett Jackson.

That said, I up my offer to 12.5K:lol:

Not happening, better double that offer! Second gen Chargers are in their own world! The trunk extensions, and wheelhouses on both of mine are perfect, still have the tabs, west coast cars rust from the top down.
