what would look better mounted on body coloured steelies out back-the whitewall side out which might pick up the white of my side trim and top---or the blackwall

I agree Hemi Rebel , think the car is too new for the wide white look.

whitewall slicks were very early '60's. out of style by '65.

I'm a white wall guy,,have wide whites on my '40 Ford Pick up
But my 65 coronet has black walls on it.
I think your car should too

I would definetly go with blackwall on your car. Ron

Do NOT rattle can a tire black. Go to WalMart and pick up some Kiwi leather shoe dye. Its made to be flexible so it won't crack over time and it won't react with the rubber. Its a permanent solution. Blacked out the raised white letters on the tires on my 32 Ford four years ago, and they're still as black as the day I did them.

Great idea. years ago there was a paint just for doing this. No longer available. There are some whitewall cheater slicks that now I might buy. Whitewalls on the inside --yuck.....................MO

You can also buy interior paint thats made for seats and dash pads as I used some on my drivers seat and its holding up great. I think it should hold up fine on a tire. Ron
