While this concept has some good points, I tend to look at stuff like this from a mechanic's point of view of what can go wrong. If something goes wrong with the mechanism or the battery goes dead while the door is in the down position it would at least be very inconvenient and possibly very costly to repair. We'll see if this idea catches on.

gotta agree with smitty on this one.looks cool but that is gonna be some serious were on those motors.double on the window motors.

Surely they can be operated manually. Everything needs a fail safe.

I would want to see more crash test studies before I got it. Side impact tests to be specific.
