Chrysler's at Carlisle 2022 Tent Activities

RC's Hemi Satellite looks even more awesome in person! @Richard Cranium, the guy, seems ok too...

It's not a Satellite.

Ok Mr. Belvedere, hold your shorts on. Mark's awesome 1966 HEMI Plymouth Belvedere II. I made the correction.

If ya weren't so busy getting your nuts licked by a HEMI admirer when I came over to check it out, maybe I would have got it right?

Seriously Mark, that's a beautiful ride brother!

Thanks guys for the pictures - I was too busy and didn't take any!

What was cool was that Carlisle Management stopped by and presented us with a banner as the fourth largest group this year!!!
We've come a long way from trying to scrabble together a couple of guys to meet at the tent!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and especially to all those who either contributed raffle prizes or helped with the food and grilling. This has already gotten bigger than what I can handle alone, so the help and contributions were greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all, and hope you had a great time at Carlisle! Safe travels back home!

Hawk
Great Job as usual Hawk! Was great seeing so many FBBO & other folks.

I stopped by today at the tent to say hello and introduce myself but the timing was bad.
Y'all were eating lunch and food comes first anytime or beer
We left before the storms but not before I spent to much money.
Bought the whole interior for Ruby from legendary, the 66 coronet 500 we have
So next year we hopefully will have her and the 72 charger on the field
Where was legendary set up? I walked all over and didn't see them. Darn.

In the swap second row when entering gate 1 about half way up. My spot was just a little further up.

Ordered door panels. 38 week lead time. Guess I will run beaters till then.

Had a great time, spent a couple hours at the tent Saturday and loved meeting and talking with everyone that was there!

I don't remember which row exactly but they had a big tent. I walked in from the entrance by the diner(which makes a killer open face roast beef gravy sandwich) the went down around three rows. Their tent took about 5 spots right in the center of one of those rows.

Alas, next year I guess.

Hard to top the banner presentation, but I'll try.
Yep that's me and Christy Lee............ she's hot, even to the touch.
Look out RC I'm catching up to the KING.
We arrived late today and checked the winners list.
I scrambles through the process and was the very last award presented.
They announced my name as I pulled up and they said this is the final award, Among a record 3105 cars registered this year.
Start making plans for next year guys it will only get better. Although I don't know how they will top this year.

Congratulations Steve - and you got a personal meetup with Christy Lee!!!

Damn, we still somehow missed checking your electrical - sorry. Just too much going on in my head... :poke:

Wow, what a show! It was cool to meet those of you I met - I was late for lunch (story of my life).

It turned out, I was at the same hotel as @5wndwcpe. Really cool guy - and I found out about Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap. Now It's got me wondering if my 4 drum 68 RR can handle the braking. :steering:

A big THANK YOU to @HawkRod for all of your hard work!!! FBBO kicks ***!

Great Job as usual Hawk! Was great seeing so many FBBO & other folks.
My pleasure. I am hoping we are starting to get a head of steam to keep us growing and improving every year.

Ditto, I agree with ya! I finally met him this year and he seems to me like he is a great guy. His car was indeed fantastic too like you said!

Great to finally meet, talk, and be in the survivor tent with ya Mark.
Hope to see you again next year!:drinks:

Hello,

I registered under the FBBO club, but don't see my listing here.

Show field, 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring (Modified)

Thanks,

Rob

Nice to see ya again Rob and catch up, I can't believe it was 3 years. The car looked fantastic as usual

Here is the one picture I took. It was great to finally meet you Hawk, and a number of other members. I ordered a trunk carpet from Richard for pick up at the show. I was lucky enough to win the draw for a set of ACC custom floor mats. Thanks again Richard

Just a little info: my dad started me "backyard wrenching" on his cabs when I was 5. 2005 was or 1st CaC, I was solo for years, Dad said "GO", so I did. Dad past end of March, guess I can replace the tools I broke or lost on him over the decades. Just a shade tree guy and the folks here are a HUGE KNOWLEDGE POOL, like Jeff, @T2R9, thanks for the tips for my grilles!!
Then there's @eldubb440, local guy, just that he DOES perform miracles with help from Rebel!! Gonna leave the nipple stayement alone, FOR NOW!! Plan on continueing what was started in 2005, now we are at 2 from 2005 with a newbie added, our cousin.
Thanks all!! JOHN
