coil compatibility

Hello, is the pertronix flame thrower coil compatible with a mp electronic ignition with the orange box? I need a new coil and am planning an upgrade so I dont want to buy a coil twice

Some of the Flamethrower coils have down to .32 Ohms primary resistance...to be able to use the full potential of the coil you will need electronics capable of supplying big current...

cool, my accel coil went out and I want to upgrade to a pertronix system with the dist and all, I hate buying things twice.
