WWII birds are THE nicest looking planes ever built in my opinion. My two favorites are the F4-U Corsair and the P-38 Lightning.

When I was a kid, my favorite show was Baa Baa Black Sheep about the Black Sheep Squadron and Pappy Boyington. They flew the Corsairs and I thought they were the baddest bad *** planes ever. Made me dream of being a fighter pilot. Oh well. We all have unrealized dreams. A high school friend of mine had the same dream and went on to fly F-16's.

If I ever get down to AZ, I'm def going to check out these planes. Thanks !!!!

I watched ba ba weekly & reruns in syndication for a looong time.
