Modern Day Vintage Gas Station

Come to The Pierce Arrow Museum in Buffalo and see the Frank Loyd Wright gas station. It’s inside plus you will see a ton of beautiful cars.

There's one at the end of my street, walking distance, about 8 houses away on the corner, Sinclair, I talked to him, gave him some of my old Sohio collectables, cap, oil, grease etc.

maybe add covered bridges on same map for additional photo opprotunities

If you go up to Millerton, NY there is a covered bridge in Cornwall, CT.

Few things on earth I like better than old gas stations and petroliana.
Most of the old stations around here have been turned into something else now - tho you can tell not only that they were gas stations, but usually what brand.
This one is an office for architects, but the outside has at least been restored to (mostly) original save for pumps out front.

OK, not a restored station, but in response to / addition to the original /vintage photos in post 22, here are a couple from our friend Mr Jones' Sinclair on Southwest Blvd - aka Rt 66 - in Tulsa.

Old guy in Iola redid the one on the show grounds. But he also doesn't let anyone near the place and ropes the entire thing off during the show. It's neat, I guess, from 50 feet away....
I am glad OP was able to come across someone willing to share the history a bit more :)
Like the ultimate man cave....

There's YouTube videos on the Millerton gas station.

That’s funny you say that. I just got this one for my car for car shows. Do they still give these away?

I moved out east so no Jack in the Cracks out here. I miss them though. Every time I saw one when I was traveling for work I would make it a point to stop for tacos. Same with In-n-Out none on the east coast. Miss me a double double. I did hear that In-n-Out is moving their headquarters from California to TN. Maybe there is hope they open some stores on the east coast. I remember when I was a teenager growing up in California, if we ever were in the Los Angeles area we made it a point to go to their only restaurant at the time before they became famous. The same mom and pops family that owned that restaurant still owns the chain. We used to get their bumper stickers “In-N-Out Burger”, and cut the B and R off.

I've been past this station several times in Millerton, NY but haven't had an opportunity to stop by and take a look, but today was the day.

I was taking some pictures and there was a truck off to the side. The gentleman got out and we started talking about cars. I asked if this was his and he said yes.

He asked if I wanted to come inside and have a look, absolutely l said. What a cool place and apparently he owns another one.

Enjoy!

Looks like it was your lucky day Roger, and you got the grand tour. Talk about perfect timing! I would love to take a trip there some time and have a look myself. Do you have any information on the red Mustang like the engine and transmission? A friend is restoring a yellow one with a 6 cylinder and I’m curious to know if its almost the same as his thats why I ask, I posted a picture of it below. I’m very glad there are some folks that are historians and go to these lengths with these types of things.

Not real close, but good question!!! Obviously you've been to Tulsa... :)
[OK... took my socks off so I could count... but that's about 12 miles as the crow flies from 11th and Yale where that cafe is. Little more by road. At least I assume thats the one at 11th and Yale since you made the connection and 11th Street WAS Rt66 way bitd. There are a couple of Tally's in town as I remember.]

I had a great meal there while I was visiting…it was fun driving down old Route 66.
