Comp Cams Nostalgia Plus camshafts

As with any cam selection you need know compression ratio, rear gear, and converter stall if you're running an automatic transmission. 440'

I'm running the nostalgia plus 233/240 in my 71 barrcuda 440/6 pack with stock pistons and a 2400 converter. I think it runs great and with stock type exhaust gives it just a little bit of a lumpy feeling and sound. I'm sure it leaves a lot of horse power on the table but I don't race the car any more and it keeps the stall speed manageable for milage.

Thanks for the feedback Mopar Jack, that's good to know.

Thanks 440Coronet500, cam selection is a science of it's own!
Compression Ratio - Not 100% sure yet but I am looking at using KB hyperflat top pistons.
Converter stall - stock Hi-Perf which lists 2600 - 2900
Which of course means auto trans.
Rear end - 8 3/4 with sure-grip. I would have to check but I think the ratio is 3.23

1971 factory service manual shows this stock stall speed chart

Thanks, interesting to see how they changed over a few years.
This is from the 73 manual. I have the Hi-Perf (RW).
