compression ratio again

Roberto..........stroke...............or rod length?

The United engine calculator doesn't SAY anything about either.....until you drop down to figure dynamic compression. I know the variables are worked into the formula, but to save space and not cofroosh simple minds like mine, they shortened it up some. Like I said, I don't handle shorthand....much less the longhand Meepamous was talkin about. I do good to keep my butt wiped.

Rusty you kill me! We need to be hangin' out and listenin' to some good music - cuz I know you know what good music is. If you weren't so dang far away...

they are almost round slight oblong shape View attachment 115643

My point about the round gasket is you can't accurately calculate the volume, or let's say the long hand involved to do that is far beyond me! You can get close, and if you had a good feel about guessing volume that might be good enough. Better to just pour it.

If you want some pep in your step you can always go with a different cam but I wouldn't rush out to fix 9.5:1 CR, especially on today's gas. Maybe you have better swill than we do in CA but 11:1 is just stupid around here. Like Rusty said, sling it together and burn rubber. I mean you got 505 inches for crying out loud!
