Connector mystery

I'm in the middle of fixing the partially burned wire harness in my 1966 satellite. This connector is causing me some confusion. The violet w/tracer coming from the console harness has a second short wire and terminal, anybody know where this connects. I have the fsm but don't see the console connecting anywhere in the body or dash diagrams. Im thinking this is for the backup light switch which means this should connect to the b terminal of the wiper switch per the diagram, but then where does the short jumper wire go?

I think that’s right. Here is a Classic Car diagram. A piece of yellow tape marks the console connector on the left side. This is a 66 diagram.
