Good afternoon all,

Can’t find any info on these heads. Edelbrock performer rpm aluminum heads. Stamped 8104. Looking for valve size info and volume CC?

That most likely was a bare casting number. A head builder would take it bare and build it. So you are going to have to disassemble and measure everything along will cc'ing chambers and ports.

Most were 84cc closed or 88cc open chamber with 2.14 x 1.81 valves. Pull a valve cover and see if any part numbers are stamped there.

The “8104” stamping is a job number or work order number from some shop that worked on them.
That number was not on the heads as they came from Edelbrock.
The other dead giveaway that they’ve been reworked is the dull mat finish on all the machined surfaces from being bead blasted.

What that means is……..they aren’t “exactly” as they came ootb.

Some of the stampings under the valve covers might have some correlation to which part number they are, but I’ve never paid enough attention to them to know if they do or don’t.

From Edelbrock, they should have been 84 or 88cc’s, and had 1.81/2.14 valves.
