Your typical old school race car.Bought car a few years ago in the York/Carlisle area..found out that fellow member ((Norwoodville Speed Shop)) built the car and sold to fellow I bought it from.9" rear with a strange chunk(5.13 gear),ATI Ultra Glide, iron head 440 with lots of compression and an ugly solid roller.Combo is straight out of the vintage Direct Connection book...nothing fancy.i have a best pass of 10.44 at Maple Grove raceway in perfect air.Car is also street legal with mufflers and d.o.t. tread.I had Barton build me a stout 500" wedge for it but it has not made its way into car yet

My 64' Polara has been getting called "Magoo" lately around here. Poking fun at the size of the headlights. I said that's ok, i'll just paint across the trunk "Oh Magoo, you've done it again".

dan that's really a great name and the having that done on the back would be awesome.

There have been allot of good names on cars & boats around here...
A 68 Coronet R/T back in the day had "Magnum Force" in Gold Leaf across the Quarter Panels...
A 65 Fury had "Gold Fever" across the quarters again in Gold Leaf..
A Midnight Blue 69 AMX had "Midnight Rambler" on the doors (Since it virtually didn't have quarter panels... LOL..
And a Beautiful Chris Craft Wooden Boat was named "Sportin A Woody"

Saw a Pontiac Judge, the plate said "ALLRISE"

I named my old 64 plymouth D-CON back in 1975 when I traded for it. had a 440 dual-quad TR on it then, 4 speed, 4.10 dana, was pretty hard on the ford and chevy population. Dave.
