So eyeing a 74 coronet wagon right now and other then color the big thing that throws me is the front of the year. Curious to see if a prior year 72/73 would bolt on, or because they are the same generation would just the grill and grill surround bolt on or is an entire front clip needed?

Y'er gonna' need the whole clip. I wouldn't be surprised if the bumper mounting structure is entirely different. You would probably want to have the whole car to rob parts from to make it work.

73/74 and 71/72 Chargers have their differences related to the different frame rails heights due the isolations added. This modified also inner fenders.

Sooooo based on this, I guess with Coronets, will be about the same.

Sure any 71/73 bumper, hood will interchange. Fenders will get mostly sure internal differences, not noticeable from exterior.

And of course, no way 71/72 Bumper brackets will fit on 73/74.

Will need a full clip. 74 Fenders and hood are COMPLETELY diff. Also 74s don’t have front valence, like earliers.

My suggestion… get a 73 donor.

On a side note… 74 is my fav front end clip of this generation.
