Ready to reinstall my gauge and radio bezel after getting dash painted. Gremlins obviously stole my screws…what are the correct sizes I should be using? All the same or are some longer or shorter? Also, there is only mounting tabs on the bottom of gauge bezel correct? Any help you can give is appreciated!! Oh yeah, 70 Charger w/ ac.

Thanks!

If no help I can post pic tomorrow. The 5 screws for gauge cluster are different then the 4 for radio bezel.

That would be great!! Installing my new Dakota gauges and new dash bezel all around. Needed new screws anyway but now I can’t find the old ones to compare.

It's not your exact car, and you may be past the point where you could use this, but there's an article in Mopar Connection online that's a great tutorial for installing the Dakota package in a B Body.

1st pic repops top is for radio bezel 2nd pic is original screw from my 70 charger. Gauge cluster also should have a clip on the frame for the screws. Hope this helps.

sorry no pic of clips

After you get the dash installed…it’s funny how the original screws turn up one by one in the carpet pile ,seats etc.

Would a 70 rallye dash wood grain have chrome fillister screws for the instrument cluster? Chrome screws for the radio bezel? What about the AC delete bezels, black or chrome? Thank you

All 70 rallye dash screws that attach woodgrain in your photos are painted black or finished in black. Fillister head for the instrument cluster only. Conical phillips head for the radio plate and two small end caps. Message me if you need more details. I can provide dimensions of the correct style screws. Joe

Thank you. Much appreciated. I might take you up on that offer.

good info! I'm about to start my assembly too. Going with DD RTX too.

instead of me starting a new thread....
Can anyone tell me the size and type of screw for the radio mount? My best guess is 1/4 20...about half inch long. Also the size nut for the back. Is that a nylon ?
Thanks
