Craigslist find not mine.

Right, looks like you'd have to put at least 20k into any one of them. I might go like 5grand...maybe a bit higher
Exactly, 20k to make it a dependable/safe driver. After that you'd have a good driving, dented shitty body car !

im not sure hed get 15 for any as they sit, but around here we look for southern cars like that. they could all be really solid. that roadrunner has ralleys on it. could be highly optioned. they just look dirty, only real damage i see is the dent on the 68s drivers fender and rear quarter which is an easy fix, and whatever top damamge on teh pass side of the rear edge of cuda hood. dont see the typical crusty wheel wells and bubbling rocker. if they are complete numbers matching cars, especially 4 speeds, or higher optioned, they could be easy projects with a big ROI. change anything rubber and dried out, maybe some mystery oil, they could fire up. its entirely possible you steam clean that roadrunner, and have beautiful original paint underneath that just needs a buff. if this guys took the tiome to steam clea all these cars hed have much better luck getting what he wants for them, but as they sit, they look like junk and probably wont get any bites.

i bought what i thought was a total p.o.s. 86 monte carlo ss once for 300 bucks. had that same 20 years of living under a tree crap all over it. but it was on a patio not grass. that tree junk steam cleaned off, quick buffing and i had a perfect burgundy paint job. change the belts and vac lines power washed underside, and it ran great, flipped it for 5k only spent 30 bucks on cleaning supplies and rubber parts, and a 50 dollar steam cleaner rental.

if any ones near by and can go inspect them, a full report would be great, full condition/damage, whats missing, and fender tag info on each.

you guys gotta remeber, almost every one here has purchased a 4-7k car that needed 10k in body work, if these cars are solid, already they are cheaper then most of our projects.

t may be a 68 with a 69 grill
Hard to tell on the wrinkled quarter, but I think I make out a round marker....I think if it was 69 the large rectangular marker would be evident in the photo, so I'm betting it's a 68 w/ 69 grille too.

I disagree about the 68's quarter being easy fix....things buckled badly over wheel opening, upper qtr deck is buckled, rear deck is accordioned & buckled, rear panel & valance are most likely wrinkled to ****..no clue as to what is going on with right side....the photo nowhere near good enough to make an accurate judgment. Do You do Your own straightening? It's my life trade....ain't nuthin' easy......only some fixes that are easiER than others.

I may go take a look this weekend.

The rear quarter looks like it took a hit in the ***. Either that or it was jumped like the Duke Boys and the weight in the trunk brought it down. It is crinkled back there and would probably need more work than just a quarter replacement. Might have some frame rail damage or even worse the whole *** end my be crushed. I believe his price reflects the current Graveyard cars epidemic. My buddy in Arizona says when the big auction is in town out there he can find parts but people jack the price up way high hoping the out of towners will come snag them up. Which sucks for the local guy just needing a fender..

The Cuda looks like it was painted with house paint and the **** is just flaking off. It does however look like a tree dropped on it in the passenger side cowl area.

It was punched in the left ***....I'd place bets on deck lid damage frame rail damage, trunk floor damage, some wheel house damge........guy probably took pix from best deceptive angles on all the cars.

i think youre right, seeing it again, the 68 is a very hard call, especailly with only one side view. that same dent could be a truck dump backing in, or a full rear slam. but that roadrunner and 70 charger look straight. powerwashing that crap off all the cars would paint a much better picture.

Oops my last post was supposed to say. I may go up there and check these cars out this weekend. I will bring a camera and a trailer :) one may follow me home.
