cranium you missed one--Kitty Wells

I'm laughing too hard from this thread...
I particularly like the "Deliverance" quip...
That S#i! is scary...
Yeah, Country today has evolved and is more main-stream.
Back then it was whiny.
LOL

Alot better than people smashing guitars and screaming. Isn't it amazing that after 60 years Hank Williams is still around.:headbang:

i'm not gonna bash any music. If i don't want to listen to a certain kind of music,i just don't tune it in the radio. The singers back then didn't have all the electronic help they have now. Then it was just their voice for the most part.

Now, here's a country tune..............

That is one crappy song you have chosen there Mr. Cranium. I would rather hear something like "Seminole Wind" by John Anderson or maybe "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue" by Toby Keith just for starters. Both of these are also on youtube.

"Deliverance" I remember that movie. I am happy none of that took place in my state. We are most generally a friendly group of folks, but we really don't take to kindly to insults or ridicule.

We also understand that cranium is a reference to the head. In the Marine Corps the head is where you take a crap.lol

I like them boys at DUCK DYNASTY I have a real good laugh on watching that show seems like the only show without to much drama :headbang:

I cant remember but what did this guy call those hill people in Deliverance?

Burt Remolds puts an arrow in i think both of the (hill guys) they, lets say were having there way with the Mr. Beatty.. I don't think i have the wrong movie... Cant remember if he was at the wrong place or he said something he should not have. either way, Ned was in a terrible situmagation :)

Yep, it's just your typical country-type song.

What & what by who & who?

RIP Kitty, Easy on the Hayseed talk junior.. Country no good eh... I prefer rock myself, but i don't push it on my Ma who loves the old stuff, you know, like Miss Kitty Wells... Dad taught me to play guitar with these old time greats. Our modern country music was inspired by these greats.. Awful quick to judge who should be noted as passed away and who shouldn't..

exactly; when i said he missed one i meant he missed mentioning the departure of a certified star in her time and venue. i didn't realize he was selective on the job he has taken on as overseer of the recently departed. as mentioned i prefer old classic rock but will give a listen to pretty much everything, EXcept, head bangin crap and rap crap. but thats my choice.

i am sorry this took on the angle it took. it wasn't meant to be that way.:headbang:

Just think... if Kitty Wells had married Conway Twitty, she woulda been Kitty Twitty.

Hmmm If Bonnie Parker married Billy the Kid, she woulda beenBonnie Bonney.

Guess that only leaves us with Anita Bryant marrying Moby Dick.... what would her name be? (Gotta say that one out loud and pretty fast.... had a waitress tell me one night that she had NEVER been so open with her feelings when she said that name :) )

Dickie, you kill me man....hayseeds ROFL

nobody has a more appropriate name on this board than you!!!!

ya Hay seed
