So after getting the tach working again in the Road Runner i fire it up and let it sit there and idle cause it sounds good.. lol. Anyhow I notice coolant under the front bumper. WTF? So I pop the hood and see that there is a pissing stream of coolant coming out of one of the cores.

The radiator is not correct for the car anyhow its a 26 inch C body radiator. The core support is a 22 inch core support anyhow. I do have another 26 inch radiator that came out of a 71 Satellite. Will that fit in the place of the other radiator? Just something to get by with until I can fix the other leak.

I would measure from mounting holes to make sure and as long as the in and out are in the same location go for it. Sorry for your pains.

Better than it squirting out from the cylinder head, frost plug or intake manifold!

Well, the beauty of having a 22" support is....drill bits and fasteners make about any radiator
"fit". :)
I took my 22" support and literally cut out the opening to 26" size to accomodate my Griffin
"exact fit" radiator - but no idea if the hole wound up being exactly where it would have been
on a factory 26" support in doing so.
Why? Because the hole was enlarged to match the fit of the Griffin itself, which was located to
match the location of the fan on the engine (centerline to centerline).

Must have wound up being darn close to factory because a factory fan shroud fit afterwards
perfectly, too.

If you have an earlier c body radiator with the fan shroud that mounts with studs and nuts it will not fit on the 71 radiator, If you are using/running a fan shroud.
