Going through my ‘70 Dana 60 and I was wondering if the diff case bolts are left handed threads like the 8.75 power-lock? Factory manual is TFU Regarding Dana 60.

Not 100% positive but think righthand threads. At least last one I did no L on bolts.

Case bolts are regular RH thread, and as far as I know, only the ring gear bolts are LH.

Thanks, bolts are grade 8 and marked “F”. So I think you are correct. Weird that 8.75 bolts are 3/8-24LH and Dana are 7/16-14RH tho.

BTW: ARP 645-3500 bolts are proper sized bolt for Powr-Lok diff case replacements. Come in packs of 5 and you’ll need 8. So about $60 from Summit.
