So funny how a lot of guys hate that Danika gets so much more attention and sponsors exemptions than other drivers. NEWS FLASH - she's beautiful. Last time I checked we didn't have a DUDES THREAD here on the forum, nope, it's a CHICK'S THREAD.

Anyone who whines about Danika's exemptions yet has EVER looked at a girly magazine in his life is a FRAUD.

I've never said she was bad to look at - hell, she's at least an "8". I'm just sick of the blanket TV coverage of a second tier driver. She not going to be anywhere close to contention when we approach the chase this fall. I wish her luck, but I'll eat my hat if she is within reach of the championship come "chase" time.

Amazing how far someone can fall once the full press of NASCAR support fades away and someone has to get by like all the other drivers. Bad luck on the tire, but bad driving on the qualifying.

Let's see how she trends after next week. Will she be in the winner's circle, or posing for Maxim to keep attention coming?

she is just a publicity stunt by nascar.there are much better looking drivers in the nhra.they dont act like tramps,so they dont get the media coverage.

Didn't she start 40th?...and ended up 26th before her tire blew out? She is a good lookin' woman...with proven driving skills and has been recruited to drive in NASCAR. NASCAR, as a business, is capitalizing on this to pull in new fans/ spectators/ followers. Like it or not, it's business marketing that is bringing more attention to the 'sport'. I'll admit it, I'm guilty of it. :edgy:

I have to agree,,, I'm tired of all the HYPE about her too.... The latest commercial says Jimmie Johnson and Danica Patrick lead them to Vegas,,,,,, She had already qualified 40th for the current race,,,,, no one even started qualifying for Vegas,,,, How the hell did her name get chosen for being the leader of Nascar to Vegas???? It's the blanket coverage that Nascar wants to cash in on! Plain and simple!
She simply doesn't deserve the hype as a driver any more than say Gordon, or Martin, or any other driver that qualified better than 40th!

LMAO!!! You just dont get it do you. I dont want to see Gordon or Johnson in a bikini and money is all about marketing.
She did a good job in the 500 and was well complimented by fellow drivers for not only that race but her progression in the sport. Would I put money on her to win a race? Not yet.
