Dangerous Crap Tools

When you see a set of bits like these, you almost automatically assume they are high rpm. There's no other application for these types of bits. The problem is that there are these second rate companys out there that steal designs and reproduce such items for profit. Then they protect themselves by placing a "always wear eye protection" label on the product. They should be held accountable but they're smart enough in knowing how to get around it. I see this day in and day out with all kinds of products. Sometimes it's just the chance you take. All you can do is spread the word when you find such a product, just like hsorman is doing here!

Exactly, khryslerkid. I haven't seen that type of bit designed for slow turning tools, just the ones that turn like dentist drills. They're not the type of bit you'd be able to fit to an angle grinder. 30,000 rpm is fairly standard - the surface speed of the tool bit is still slower than the edge of a 4 1/2" disk on a regular grinder going 10,000 rpm.
