I'm looking for some tips on how to get the lower dash on my 69 Road Runner apart so I can get to the switches. I'm having a problem with lights that I think is caused by the headlight switch. The dash lights that run off the dimmer, front parking lights and tailights all quit working after I was working up under the dash.

Must I remove the lower dash pad or does the panel where the switches mount come out on it's own?

It should just pop out when the screws are removed, but I have had warped pads that "trapped" the switch panels in the past.

Usually some WD-40 and gentile prying will free them, but sometimes only removal, or destruction will work.
