Does the block that you are looking at have the F 440 HP or HP2 stamping on the pad by the intake for a 70 HP year model car? That is what i would try to get if it were my car. I would get one as close as possible to the cars build date, and it would have the F 440 HP or HP2 stamped on the upper pad for your six pack roadrunner. Just my opinion, but i like to try to find close date code engine and trans parts for my cars. I don't think anyone would say that the 70 is not a more sought after block than a 74 block would be.
