The farthest was 875 miles. :icon_cyclops_ani:

No I never expect them to do it for free, I just had my last car that I could have transported it with eject its transmission all over interstate 66. He just said that he would do it for free when I asked nicely and didn't negotiate too hard

Really?
I drove 300 one way for a part
Left house a 0330 Hrs
Arrived home 1519 hrs..
625 miles total

1100 miles...Elkhart, In to Denver, Co too bad it was before they made some things legal lol

My farthest was a 2300 mile round trip to Oregon. Inspected the car, rented a trailer then went to the bank.
I loaded the car on the trailer and drove back to Arizona. Told the wife we were going to have fun on a road trip and she was all into it. Sometimes all it takes is a little psychology.

i retrieved my roadrunner from Northern Montana and i live in West Michigan, looks like we're all nuts according to your wife.

Flew out to Omaha to pick up a '62 four door Fury in Sioux City, Iowa. About 1,600 miles back home to Seattle. Car had dealer installed A/C that worked like a champ. Don't remember the town we rolled into and caught a weekend car show while stopping for fuel and food. Good times!

YEP ..even though 2 months ago a guy flew into Buffalo from Chicago ..I picked him up at a hotel near the airport in the morning with my 69'GS and had him drive it back to my house ..when we got there he pulled out a set of plates, paid me and drove back to Chicago that day..she just shook her head in amazement and said you can buy me a notebook from the profit.... she doesn't get it but goes along with the flow ..she thinks cars are just to get you from A to B:eusa_snooty: ..I feel sorry for her :glasses10:

Drove from Toronto to a place half way between Louisville and Nashville return to see a '68 Runnner. Vendor agreed to have the brakes redone and certified at his cost. Flew down three weeks later and drove it home.

Drove 660 miles to Dallas Texas and back (1320 total) to pick up my 1st '62 plymouth. I've made that same trip twice now. Have made more than a few 200 one wayers .
