distributor gasket??

recently had my 67 440 distributor updated and was wandering if there is an "O" ring or gasket that it sits on (like the chevys), when reinstalling it?

yes, well i use the one in the fel pro kit it is just a paper gasket

You should have an O Ring just under the base - it sits inside a groove.
