Do these pieces replace points ignition?

Why make life so hard. Want to convert to factory electronic ? Reman electronic distributors are at your local parts store for around $50.

Yeah, but if I'm going to do it, I would rather used new, old aftermarket over new box store stuff. Seems to be a lot of new parts failures these days.
