Yeah they were fun times, I had the Daisy BB-Gun Rifle {looked like a model 94 Winchester} really early like 8 y/o IIRC, was taught to respect & shot guns at an early age, got a Crossman pellet/bb/dart gun/pistol {that looked allot like a 1911 Colt}, not too long after that... my son played with them also

Here in the ridiculous state of NJ, you need a Firearms ID card ( a gun permit, backround checks, fingerprints, etc) to buy or even own a BB rifle. We have gone too far with political correctness. The nanny state is pussifying the country !!!!!!

Oh yeah, I had a Crossman 760 pump bb gun growing up, could pump it up 10 times and get around 8-900 fps with a pellet :rev_in_action:

I still use my Daisy Red Ryder BB gun to hunt deer in my apple orchard. You have to get pretty close and get off the perfect shot to bring down a big buck with on of these. I'm still perfecting my hunting skills.

Actually I predate these toys, I do remember them though. All I wanted was a set of Roy Rogers cap pistols and maybe a cowboy hat. I gave up on the Daisy BB rifle though, not because Mom said I would shoot my eye out but because I would shoot someone else's eye out. She was probably right.
