Do you Return your shopping cart ?

If my knees or back ain't hurting me, I'll put the cart where it belongs. Usually try to park close to the cart corral but that's not always possible but if I don't return it the corral, I will put the cart where it won't go astray. BUT....now a days since the local store seems to have a shortage of the small carts, I refurbed an old small cart and take it to the store with me so now there's no way anyone here can say I'm a pile of crap anymore. All you name callers have no idea what it's like to have arthritis or other problems.
Half paralized with sciatica also.
Human nature is unforseeable.
I live with my own conscience
and courtesy. No sense getting
angry with those that don't practice
the same ethics.
I do get angry when one of those
errant carts hits my car.

Some supermarkets in Europe have a €1 lock on the cart. Put in your coin to unlock it, and get your money back upon the return of the cart.

There are always people in the carpark asking shoppers if they can return the cart so that they can keep the money. This incentive works for the retailer to ensure carts are returned.

It's one of the best ways to tell the decent humans from the trash. Those that don't return their cart generally don't give a @$Q%# about anyone or anything but themselves.

ALWAYS! This is one of my biggest pet peeves! It really pisses me off when people dump their carriage between cars or in an empty parking spot only to let it roll into someone else's car. Take the 30 seconds to walk the carriage to the corral you lazy f’er!!

When I was a teenager I had a job as box boy at a supermarket. Getting the carts was part of the job, but so was carrying out groceries for people in need. The carts went back with me. Whatever happened to that? These days, if I have to leave a cart, I try to put it in the center medium grassy areas where it won’t roll into anything.

Aldi here in the states has the same system but it's only a quarter. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I have my own cart now :D
