Hi all. New to forum I was thinking about purchasing a A990 clone . Was wondering what things to look for as regarding a quality build. Any info would be appreciated.

I know I've seen these pics many times before but damn that car is nice. To think that you get to rely on that thimble full of brake fluid to stop that Hemi powered factory light weight. NO wonder there are so few left.

Sorry for the hi-jack

I dont think it was a hi-jack. to do a clone you'd want to keep the factory style master cylinder. Mine stops pretty good.

It's a chrome oval one. It's huge money. Mine cost me $3500.00
It was NOS
Don't know why I don't have a picture with the air cleaner on. I'll have to check more.:sleepy2:

Wow! What a rare find. I bet there weren't very many A-990 cars from Mr. Norm sold in New York.

Just Kidding, I had to give you some crap on that only because I am jealous of that beatuful car.

Do I see panels of some type on each side of the trunk? Looks like they cover the inside of the quarter panels. Original? Aftermarket? Custom?

Looking at it a second time, it looks like the inside of the quarters just do not have any undercoating and no holes or nuts to hold the trim for the 440 and 500 models.

Chris I know I have said it before but I love that stock looking 65 A990 car of yours. I really like the tan metallic color. In fact I like it so much I like it better then your 65 race car ! :icon_thumright: Ron
