I had a 76 Camaro with a 350 years ago. ATF lines on the right, starter too. Oil filter on the left. Shifter cable instead of rods and bellcranks.
The heavy front suspension wasn't a great exercise in the light and strong theme that Ma Mopar adopted but hey...
GM has there engineers, they designed allot of great stuff I wish Mopar had... But Mopar engineers certainly designed more than their share of good stuff too...
I really like the GM variable ratio steering box... Kinda slow in the center 30 degrees so it feels normal during higher speed maneuvers but much quicker in slalom or parking lots where you turn the wheel further..
