The two breeds look much alike. A friend had a Ridgeback and he was a nice dog.

My friend had a Ridgeback that was literally thrown away.... cause the ridge wasn't prominent enough. She was a marvelous dog. I just don't understand the fanatics sometimes.....
Edit: just reread my post, and it wasn't very clear. My friend received the rb from the breeder, who threw her away.

I have seen pointing dogs given away because the tail was not clocked right when pointing. It is a competition thing

I've been posting dogs I have seen on the internet. This one is a 4 week pup available to me. She is 1/2 Belgian Sheepdog and 1/2 Belgian Tervuren. She will be black, but it looks like she may have some brown highlights on her rough.

My last one, they crossed for a while. Much like a German Shepherd pup might, but not floppy since they aren't as big. Like a Shepherd, they almost always stand straight.
