For a year and a half I chased beautiful rescues like him. My first Belgian was a rescue. I would call the facility and say I will take that dog, but I have to arrange transportation of 1000 miles. I never got one because rescues are overcrowded and they couldn't depend on me keeping my word that I would take the dog when they had somebody standing there saying: "oh... pretty". I have no hard feelings, it's just the way things are.How in the world can that beautiful dog possibly need a home?
When I lost my last one, I had been planning to go into the local rescue and pick the ugliest dog they had to be my second pooch. The funny looking, but nice one that nobody wanted
