Have a 65 Belvedere. Doors are off with the upper hinges still attached. The cowl where they attach only has one hole that is threaded, the other two holes are not threaded. How then are they bolted on? Thanks

To the hinge , the hinge has two threaded holes back by the hinge pin and front one is not , cowl front hole is threaded the back two is not , bottom same as the top

So, does one bolt go from the front and the other two from the back side?

As with any bolt, it needs to work with a thread, no matter where the threads are. In a nut or in a tapped piece of metal. The engineers designed ease of assembly into the assembly.
