Hello,

I have a 67 Satellite that is 3200 ish #. I want to get a set of drag slicks for it.

Should I run a soft sidewall tire or something firmer?

I am also running Caltracs on stock springs

Cal tracks with stock springs wont be the best. The weaker the spring, the better. What shocks? What power level? Gear? Converter?

9 way adjustable Caltrac shocks on the back Caltrack 90/10 front. 600hp motor. 9” rear with 3:20 gears and 3K stall

Very liitle gear or converter. Drag radials will be the quickest. Should hook easily.

I agree the radials will be the quickest, but a bias will be more forgiving at a marginal track.
Is this a street car?

We're lacking some info.. I had a 600hp 383 that didn't make any torque till 5500 rpm.. with the 3500 stall in it I could have run 225/70/14 Sears 4 ply belted radials...
