Drove the65 home Saturday

OK the pic worked let me add this.
I've been looking for a project for the winter months. Something that could be ready, or mostly so by spring to cruise on the weekends with the Mrs.
This popped up and it met most of my criteria. 65 Coronet 500, has the 273/ auto, air, and for the most part unmolested. It has some rust issues mostly in lower 1/4s, fenders , and minor rust around sides of door(bottoms are great). Trunk and floors are pretty good except some very minor surface rust underneath. Needs some seat work also.
It was a few hours away so I opted to drive it home instead towing(Thanks to the PO). Trip was uneventful, except for the fuel pump springing a leak several miles from home. Other than that the car never skipped a beat, so it looks like after 38 years or so I'm back in a B Body. :)

Nice car

Thanks we like it. Put in the new fuel pump yesterday seems to run smoother. I think I was squirting out just as much fuel as I was burning. I'm thinking the next step is to start gathering parts for a disc conversion. We need a little more whooah.

Congratz dude! :glasses9:

I also own a 65-500, good choice!
