I have a 69 coronet that has front drums. What is an affordable swap i could hit up the local bone yard and buy. I have heard all th rumors, just want the facts. Please list everything I'll need such as part # etc.

Thanks!!

take a look at scarebird on ebay.they sell you an adaptor plate and you use newer stuff to make the brakes.there kits tell you what vehicle to take the parts from.i have used there kits several times and they are great quality.

We offer a manual kit for $629 or a power kit for $699, plus you get 10%OFF being a member of the site and free shipping. All parts are bolt on and go( Calipers, Brackets, Master,Hoses,Rotors,Pads, and Hardware) no rummaging through a yard and rebuilding calipers?

I like the scarebird because if you know someone in the parts biz you can save $$$$$ plus going to the parts store with the shopping list you will find out if there is a hard to get part good to know if you drive the car further then your parts guy delivery area and relying on young girls at auto zone/advance. They look at you funny when you give them part numbers not vin numbers. Complete "kits" tend to have parts the ups man will bring you in a couple days not good at hotel sunday am at nats.

There's always the F/M/J swap.

The only things that don't work are the M/C and the front lines.

Those are easily worked around, and when you go to buy parts, you just say "86 5th Ave" (or what ever the donor car was), plus it's ALL Mopar.

X2

But add R body and 73+ B body as well. Some of the 75-79 B bods also came with some larger disks as well.

Save your money, go to MBM brakes, they sell under pirate jack on their web site. all distributors buy from these guys. Drum brakes are better according to the factory guys.
