My E brake in my GTX functions fine but has become droopy over time where it does not spring back well enough to keep the pedal up in proper position. Braking is released but pedal tends to trigger "brake light"... Drives me nuts. I know there is a spring on the neck of release handle, but wondering what others may have done to solve?

When mine was like that it meant that it needed to be tightened up underneath the car with the nut on the intermedite cable setup..try tightening up a little and see what happens. Worked for me on both my b bodies.

Thanks super, I'll check it out
