ebay help please

can i link photos from photobucket to a descripion on ebay?.........i did this then clicked "preview your listing" and the pics arent there, just the IMG codes i pasted

If you have your pictures in an album on photobucket click on the album you want, then click on share album at the top. When that page comes up scroll down to the bottom were it says "or just copy this link." You should then be able to copy that link into your Ebay ad text unless they are now blocking this ability. Ebay is now making a lot of changes that are driving sellers away.

Also I sent the original poster the below email. I think you are going to see a lot more of this kind of "talk" on the Internet, it is a fantastic tool for getting a message out quickly to consumer that are unhappy with Ebay. I think the time is ripe for a new player to step up and create a new auction site that will do things the same way that made Ebay so sucessful BEFORE they got so greedy.

This is a pile of **** and I truely believe it is illegal. I hope some attorney gets a hold of this and takes it to task.

Ebay has gotten so hugh that they think the sellers that use them can't live without them. If they keep this crap up they will eventually find out that the power of the Internet is not just to their advantage. There will be some new kid on the block that will begin using the FREE press of the net and will be scooping up their past customers that are fed up with all of this.

I can see it now, EBAY USERS UNIT!! Will be the new chant and it will cause a serious dent in their business possibly to 2nd or 3rd position in the online auction business if they don't back off.

The world got along without them before and it won't stop turning without them.

I've been buying and selling on eBay for several years. We had problems with people trying to get personal info for our Paypal account, so we dropped it. I will no longer use eBay, because of their Paypal only payment system. I hope they drop that requirement soon.

If you look at the new policy it is not just PayPal that is required. They give you a choice of it, ProPay, accepting credit cars, etc.

The bottom line is, they are an AUCTION web site, they should not be dictating how sellers recieve or how buyers pay for the items. Since they bought PayPal they have been pushing its use on sellers and buyers.

I don't even think what they are doing is legal as I would THINK that it is an infringement of the free enterprise laws.

E-bay sucks with there bullsh-t rules and regulations. I have not bought anything on E-bay in a couple of years and had no trouble getting parts at a decent price and no headaches getting it done.

What are you referring to? There is no Paypal requirement.
There was an idea to go that way and it was tested in Australia. It failed.

I've been using eBay for years and just finshed a dozen or so auctions. I can find no requirement to use Paypal. Most of my buyers did use it, but a couple sent money orders.
