Throttle keeps getting stuck. I know it's not the linkage. It's something on the carb. Is there something I can grease or?

Thanks,
Jake

Jake,
Give us a couple of pictures of your carb and linkage set-up, showing both the right and left sides of the carb. Disconnect the linkage from the carburetor and with the motor OFF, slowly work the butterflies open, watching the operation of the secondary butterflies, the choke, etc. See if you can spot where the butterfly linkage is binding. Try loosening the carburetor mounting bolts to see if that makes a difference in the smoothness of the throttle (possible bind). And, of course, you want to have a good return spring. There is nothing that needs lubrication on a carburetor once it's operating on a car.

Do you have a thick gasket? And did you over tighten the carb? Loosen the mounting bolts and try again. All this assuming you have no external interference.

Cars in the shop getting tire alignment, when it's out, i'll post some pictures.
