I have a 1969 318 with an Edelbrock 1406 600cfm on it. Can anyone tell me what side the distributor vacuum hose plugs in to? I have an electronic distributor and the books says timed vacuum port for emissioned control vehicles and Distributor vacuum advance port for non-emissions controlled engines. So I'm assuming it would be the driver side connection, yet I've read different opinions on this, please help. Thanks!

I am not saying its correct but mine is connected to the passenger side and it runs great.

Go to edelbrock.com there are drawings for your carb on there. Very clear instructions for carb hookup.

Easiest way on the Eddy's and TQ's is to look at the front of the carb- one of the ports sits higher than the other- that's your timed or ported vac
