EFI Conversion Kit

i found a tank for fuel injection for 200 bucks on e bay drop in style for pump and sending unit witch is best .

The submersible pump was a source of heartache for me. Aeromotive with Pulse Width Modulation or some such. Too bad it couldn't survive in fuel. I think Ricks Tanks screwed that one up. Ended up the third pump good til this day was an over the counter Delco for a Corvette application.

Had a Tanks, Inc. EFI- ready one in my Coronet. Good quality, fit like OE. I used their GPA 2 i -tank pump (Walbro 255lph). Never had an issue with it for at least 3 years of regular driving, long trips included. Around $700 for the tank and pump.

Need a sending unit too. There are ‘floatless’ ones available now which seem like a nice solution, just more expensive.

mine was a tanks inc also got lucky on the tank and i have an a/c Delco pump and strainer also so i can get it any where i go

Walbro pumps are very Loyd. I had one in the Holley/Tanks Inc. tank that bothered me do much I swapped it but for a pulp from Deatschwerks. It was whisper quiet.

Huh, that does not add up. The one I got from Tanks, Inc. was actually pretty quiet. You could hear it before startup during the key-on prime sequence but once the car was running it was essentially inaudible. Even at idle I never noticed it. It was a return system, not sure if that helps reduce pump noise.

I could hear that Walbro with the car running. I could barely hear the Deatschwerks priming the engine.

My fury has been running a classic f.a.s.t mpi since 2009. I did not rewire the car. I did run some new circuits though. Walbro 255 pump hung on the frame rail, it is noisy.
Oem lean burn dizzy is the cheap way for computer control timing if you don't choose to use dual sync
